Book of Nehemiah - Chapter 1

Currently I am reading through the book of Nehemiah in the Old Testament. I completed the first chapter day before yesterday and that chapter contains a prayer by prophet Nehemiah to the Allmighty God. He was devasted by the news that the temple of Jerusalem in in shatters. He wanted to go and re-construct the temple. He cried unto the God of Israel to show him the way.

Although he was sound and safe in the palace he was shocked by the news from Jerusalem. He fasted and prayed to the God of Israel. Yes,God answered his prayer.
