God is my Shepherd - Psalms 23:4 - My meditation

What a powerful yet comforting Psalms by King David. In Psalms 23, King David acknowledged God as his Shepherd. As a sheep look upto his master for everything, David declares that his trust is only on Heavenly Father God.

David had to go through a lot of difficulties that we cannot even imagine. Even though he was chosen the King of Israel, not only his own close relatives & Saul, but also his nation's enemies tried to kill him many times. He faced near death like situations many times. However even in those situations too, he had the strong faith that the Almighty God who had chosen David as the King will be kind enough to rescue him even if he had to cross the valley of death.

Remember that David himself was a shepherd and knows exactly how he protects his sheep from cruel animals and others who wanted to poach his sheeps. This has created a long lasting impression on his beliefs and saw the heavenly Father God as his own Shepherd who constantly was with him to guide through his difficult times. 

Let's also put our trust in Lord Jesus Christ who is our good shepherd and recognises the voice of His sheeps.
