1 Timothy 2:1 Pray and give thanks for all people

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.

1 Timothy 2:1

What a beautiful message Holy Spirit gave us. It's rather a command to pray for all people. Everyone are made by God. Every human being is the child of God. He wants everyone to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and become the children of God.

It's therefore our responsibility to pray for everyone, irrespective of anyone's religion, caste, nationality, skin color, language, culture, age, education, social status, employment status, rich or poor. Since they have not been saved yet, we have the responsibility to pray on their behalf. Pray so that they hear the sweet voice of the Lord. Give thanks in advance for their salvation.

Our prayer will breakdown the forces of darkness blinding their spiritual hearts and eyes. They will identify the sweet voice of Holy Spirit. It may be possible for us to pray for everyone, therefore we should pray for the people we know or have met so far. It releases the favor in our life too.
