2 Thessalonians 3:8 An instruction to ministers of God to not become burden on fellow believers for financial needs

We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it. We worked hard day and night so we would not be a burden to any of you.
2 Thessalonians 3:8

In his 2nd apostolic letter to the church of Thessalonians, Saint Paul reiterate the need of Lord's apostles, ministers, evangelists, teachers, etc lead a life worthy to be followed by other belevers. In the chapter 3 verse 8, he condemn the act of some of the ministers and believers who who have chosen to lead an idle life.

Probably these men stay indoors, praying and workshiping. They look upon other believers to meet their needs. They do not do any physical hardwork to meet their expenses.

Saint Paul makes it clear to everyone who is a minister or evangelist of God to earn their living and not become a burden on other believers. We can see these type of people today too.
