Take pride in declaring the goodness of God

After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you! Yes, you are our pride and joy.

1 Thessalonians 2:19-20

Saint Paul boldly declared that the people who accepted Lord Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord are his real reward and crown he received in this earth. Notice that he again boldly declares that the Lord has given him an opportunity to be consider his fellow belivers as his pride and joy.

How beautiful is this verse where Saint Paul does not boast of how many churches he started, how many distance he travelled, how knowledgeable he is, etc, but about his fellow belivers. We should be counting it proud when we are given the opportunity to proclaim the good news among the people who may not have heared about Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has assured us to reward us for the courage and hardwork we put in to proclaim the Goodnews. Consider this life as His gift and the opportunity to born-again in Lord Jesus Christ as His eternal love for us. Let us continuly praise and thank His goodness in our life what we have received so far and what we are going to receive.
