2 Thessalonians 1:3 Flourishing Faith in Us

Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

2 Thessalonians 1:3

Faith is the language of a born-again believer. At the time when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior, the level of faith of most of us may be really high. It might be because of the excitement of becoming a born-again Christian, or it may be because of a miracle happened in your life, or may be because of a life changing testimonial. I have observed that over the time if we do not exercise our faith it becomes weak. Its like the muscles in our body. 

More we exercise our faith, more we out it into practice, more we hear the Word of God, more we are connected with Godly people, more we pray, more we talk to God, more we worship the Lord our God, more we spend time to understand the Word of God under the guidance of Holy Spirit, the more we endure the pain to stay away from sinful deeds, our faith will flourish.

Everyday our faith should grow. It needs proper nature and careful attention. Iy needs dedication and discipline. When our faith grow and flourish, we will become more humble in our spirit and behaviour. Then we become more like our Lord. It will help us to become the desciple of God. It will help us to see others as more important than us. It will help us to care for others. When we strive to become more like Jesus Christ, then we will love each other. Our love will be unconditional. We let go of our ego.
